Evidence/Property Control Section

The Evidence/Property Control Section maintains control over all property that is turned in as evidence, found, recovered or confiscated. This system of control over property in custody ensures continuity and consistency in its safekeeping. The Evidence/Property Custodian is accountable for all property accepted by, stored in, or under the control of the Evidence/Property Control Section. The Evidence/Property Custodian also prepares items for destruction and auction according to city and state guidelines.
